Wallacea Dive Cruise - The Team

Jerome Doucet, who owns and manages the operation, is French, Marine Biologist and PADI Dive Master. He lives in the area since 1991, when he came first to start and manage an aquaculture project. Jeromes speaks English and Spanish.

Suryani, his wife, is native from Luwuk and helps in the administrative aspects of the operations as well as receiving the guests. She is also the Director of the foundation "Yayasan Pemerhati Lingkugan", an NGO dedicated to the protection of the wildlife and reefs in the area.

Bruno Hopff is the Cruise Director and dive instructor on board the Paisubatu II. Certified PADI and CMAS, Bruno is from Switzerland. He speaks English, German, French and Indonesian and will be the ear to any of your diving or cruising matters. Living and diving in Indonesia since 2001, he is from the "Bukanen School", meaning that no critter - nudibranchs, pygmy seahorses, and all the others - remain hidden to his eyes. Being a photographer himself, he knows well what special attentions require special divers...

Three other Indonésian dive guide will accompany you during divings and allow us to organize palanquées of 4 divers or less. Dody, guides of Bunaken which joined our team in march 2008. Anto and Dani who are members of our crew since 2004 and were formed in diving by Bruno in 2006 and 2007.

The Indonesian crew of the MV Paisubsatu includes a captain, a mechanic, one crew, and Rasid, the best cook on the Sulawesi seas. The dive boat itself has 3 crew members, filling tanks, preparing your equipment, bringing you to the dive spots, and getting you back on board.
